About Sky mobile IPs

Sky Mobile sells its own SIMs and runs on O2’s network. A Sky proxy gives you a UK mobile address on O2’s infrastructure, from a different provider than an O2 SIM.

Sky doesn’t provide IPv6, so Sky proxies are IPv4 only. Our Sky pool is small, a 4G router and a 5G phone, so check stock at checkout.

Questions

Is Sky the same as O2?

Sky Mobile runs on O2’s network, so coverage is O2’s, while the SIMs and bundles are Sky’s.

Do Sky proxies support IPv6?

No. Sky doesn’t provide IPv6, so Sky proxies are IPv4 only.

Do Sky proxies support WireGuard?

Yes, every Sky modem does. The proxy page shows its WireGuard link and a config file to download.

Will I keep a Sky IP after rotating?

Yes. The device stays on its Sky SIM, so every new address comes from Sky. A rotation usually takes under a minute.

Can I choose a specific UK city?

No. Mobile IP addresses are assigned by the network and aren’t tied to a city.
