UK mobile proxy networks
Dedicated proxies on EE, Lyca, O2, Sky and Three. Compare 4G and 5G, IPv6, WireGuard and speed by network.
Every T-Proxy proxy is a dedicated modem or phone with a real SIM on one of five UK mobile networks. The network decides which IP addresses you get, whether IPv6 is available and how fast the connection is. Prices are the same on every network.
Compare the networks
| Network | Runs on | Generation | IPv6 | WireGuard | Typical speed* |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| EE | Own network | 4G and 5G | Most SIMs | Most modems | ~35 Mbit/s |
| Lyca | Runs on EE | 4G and 5G | Yes | About half | ~32 Mbit/s |
| O2 | Own network | 4G | IPv4 only | Yes | ~21 Mbit/s |
| Sky | Runs on O2 | 4G and 5G | IPv4 only | Yes | ~31 Mbit/s |
| Three | Own network | 4G | Yes | Yes | ~25 Mbit/s |
* Median of the hourly 1 MB download tests our monitoring runs on every modem, 28 September to 5 October 2026. A short test like this understates top speed; real speeds vary with signal and how busy the local cell is.
Which network should I choose?
- Most availability: Lyca is our largest pool, mostly 5G phones, all with IPv6.
- Need IPv6: choose Lyca, EE or Three. O2 and Sky are IPv4 only.
- Need WireGuard: every O2, Sky and Three modem has it, as do most EE and about half of Lyca. Tick the WireGuard filter when you buy and you only get a modem that has it.
- A specific network’s view: if you check ads, prices or apps as customers of one network see them, pick that network. EE and Lyca share EE’s network, and Sky runs on O2’s.
- Spread across networks: running proxies on different networks, such as EE, O2 and Three, gives you address ranges from separate operators.

Questions
Do all networks cost the same?
Yes. 4G and 5G plans have the same price on every network.
Can I change network later?
Yes. Migrate proxy on the proxy page moves you to a modem on another network for free and keeps your expiry date. Your connection details change because it’s a different device.
Which networks have 5G?
EE, Lyca and Sky. O2 and Three are 4G at the moment.
Why does IPv6 depend on the network?
Each network decides whether to give its customers IPv6 addresses. EE, Lyca and Three do; O2 and Sky only provide IPv4.
Which networks support WireGuard?
All five. WireGuard depends on which of our servers a modem is connected to, not on the network: every O2, Sky and Three modem has it, as do most EE and about half of Lyca. Tick the WireGuard filter when you buy to get a modem that has it.
